What we'll do

See the Blue Mountains and spot wild kangaroos while having heaps of fun!

This fun and alternative day trip by the Coast Warriors is absolutely the best way for young and young-at-heart travellers to experience the Blue Mountains. Starting near Sydney central station, you'll board "Trudy" the minibus and head out to the Blue Mountains, approximately 1 hour's drive west of Sydney. First stop is Glenbrook where you can spot wild kangaroos. Then it is off to Wentworth Falls to take part in a 90-minute bushwalk to the bottom of the 187 metre high falls, via the ‘Stairs of Doom’ and the National Pass trail.

Lunch is served on your return and includes kangaroo meat, sausages, yummy salads and more. Afterwards, you'll head up to Katoomba to see the Three Sisters and hear about the Aboriginal significance of this area. In the afternoon, you'll visit Lincoln's Rock for uninterrupted views of Jamison Valley. During the warmer months (November to March) you'll also go for a dip in a local swimming spot deep in the bush. Then you'll head back to Sydney and the crew often goes for a beer together.

This Blue Mountains day trip promises to be full of laughs, adventures and classic Aussie experiences - book your spot today!

    Frequently asked questions

    • What should I bring? Wallet, sunscreen, phone or camera, refillable water bottle, comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear. It is often colder in the Blue Mountains than in Sydney so we recommend bringing a light jacket in summer, and warmer clothing in winter. Bring swimwear and a towel for tours between November and March and a rain jacket if wet weather is forecast.
    • Is lunch included? Lunch is included on this tour and consists of sausages, kangaroo meat, salads and bread. Vegetarian and vegan options are available - please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking.
    • Where do we start? You'll meet your guide at 814 George Street, next to "Wake Up" hostel and "Roy's Cafe". Click here for the Google map link.
    • Where do we finish? 814 George Street, where you started.
    • When do we start and finish? The tour starts at 7:30 am and finishes at approximately 5:30 - 6:00 pm.
    • What days does the tour operate? Tours operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
    • Are private tours available? Yes! Private tours are available. Please contact us for more information.
    • Who can come? All guests must be over 18 years old.
    • How fit do you have to be to do the bushwalk? A moderate level of fitness is required for the bushwalk, but you also don't have to do it if you don't want. The walk to the bottom of Wentworth Falls and back up is about 90 minutes in total and includes going down 187 metres. The first 10 - 15 minutes of the return up can be a little demanding but no one has died yet.
    • Can I bring alcohol? Yes, yes you can. Or you can also buy some when the group stops in Glenbrook. The tour bus comes with an esky (cooler box) where you can store your beers or other drinks.
    • Will we see kangaroos? We can't guarantee that you'll see kangaroos as they are wild animals, but your guides will do their absolute best to find some for you. Wild kangaroos are seen on approximately 90% of tours.
