What we'll do
Come on the adventure of a lifetime on liveaboard "OceanQuest"!
With daily departures from Cairns, OceanQuest is without a doubt the best way to sleep on the Great Barrier Reef. OceanQuest recently underwent a major refit/renovation in 2017 and is the most comfortable liveaboard on the reef.
On-board there are 18 comfortable twin cabins with two single beds and 4 double bed cabins. All cabins are equipped with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. OceanQuest provides a spacious and comfortable ‘home away from home’, offering a truly unique experience for all divers and snorkelers wanting to explore this pristine underwater playground.
Every morning you will wake up to watch the sun rise over the reef, before enjoying delicious breakfast buffets. Jump in the water at some fantastic dive sites that are frequented by myriads of tropical fish, rays, turtles, (friendly) sharks and the ever-popular diver-friendly Maori Wrasse. There are swim-throughs, wall and drift dives that will appeal to every level of diver experience. The dive sites are chosen on a daily basis by the vessel Captains for the best variety and visibility according to the weather conditions. You can also upgrade to OceanQuest exclusive packages including "Fluro Diving" and "Sharks in the Dark" - we highly recommend these fantastic extras!
