What we'll do

Drive a 4WD around beautiful Fraser Island over 2 days with a fun group and awesome guides!

This adventure with the Drop Bear Adventures crew will provide you with the most magical 2 days you could possibly spend on K’gari (Fraser Island). Over 2 days, you'll get to swim in the island's famous crystal clear freshwater of Lake Birrabeen and/or Lake Mackenzie, bathe in the rejuvenating tea tree infused waters of Lake Boomanjin, spot little turtles at Lake Allom, learn how to throw a Boomerang and play a Didgeridoo, and most importantly, get off-road and drive a 4WD around the island's less-travelled tracks. You'll drive through towering rainforests, endless golden beaches and Aussie bush.

This trip is a step-up in comfort from the 3-day camping trip and features cosy accommodation at a quaint little Beach House Hostel. This exclusive hostel boasts ocean views from the deck, a campfire, pool and pingpong table, fresh linens, showers and proper toilets (very rare on Fraser Island). More than just a packed adventure, this tour is designed to show you as much of this paradise island as is possible without feeling rushed. You'll travel at a relaxed pace whilst still seeing the very best of this diversely unique island.

Amazing tour with Passionate knowledgeable guide

We took the drop bear 2D1N tour that was run by Jaden, and he truly made it a remarkable experience. We were able to experience many remote parts of Fraser Island (KGari) and have detailed descriptions of their heritage and origins. The 4WD aspect of the tour was an incredible experience, and Jaden made sure each driver felt comfortable on the difficult terrain. It felt like a personalized experience for us, and I assume all others, as our guides heritage helped us experience KGari in a way I dont think many trips could offer. Overall, the tour was a great deal of fun, and if youre fortunate enough to have Jaden as your guide youre in great hands!

        Amazing tour and experience!

This was by far one of the best adventures we had during our Australia trip! We did the two day tour with our host Cory, who was so enthusiastic and welcoming. Even though we were there for only two days, we got to see a lot of places on the island and a lot of wildlife - dingoes on the beach within the first hour of getting off the ferry, and humpback whales from the beach, plus much more. Corey was really knowledgeable and passionate about K'gari which certainly made the experience even better - thanks mate!

An unforgettable trip - don't miss it. Thanks Luke

We went on a 2 day tour with Luke as our guide and we struggle to identify the highlight of the trip, as there were so many. We saw plenty of whales, some dingos, an absolutely amazing sky of stars, lots of cool island stories by Luke and had of course some exciting driving in the 4x4. Sleeping in the upgrade tent and hearing the waves crashing all night was great as well. An amazing journey that you don't want to end. Thanks to the dropbear team, including the team at the beach resort who made it an unforgettable trip

        Amazing 2day 1night tour

I just got back from the Fraser Island or rather K'gari tour. It was incredible to see the only rainforest growing on sand and learn about the freshwater source of this island. Moreover, Dropbear sets a great focus on the environment and nature on the island, as well as, the Aboriginal culture. If you want to learn about its culture and heritage, this tour is definitely for you. The food was amazing and the people hosting our little group were friendly and sweet. So if you have the opportunity take this tour, you will learn sth for life!

This was seriously one of the best parts of visiting Australia!! LOVE DROP BEARS!

Drop bears is such a great company. It was so much fun driving around, and a great, clean place to stay that has lots of fun things to do. All while spending the best time in beautiful nature. We had an amazing guide Luke who really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time possible while also giving us such great and thorough information on the island and the people! It is a truly magical island and I hope that everyone gets a chance to visit.
