What we'll do

Drive a 4WD around beautiful Fraser Island over 3 days with a fun group and awesome guides!

This adventure with the Drop Bear Adventures crew will provide you with the most magical 3 days you could possibly spend on K’gari (Fraser Island). Over 3 days, you'll get to swim in the island's famous crystal clear freshwater of Lake Mackenzie, try to spot Humpback Whales from Indian Head, wander through magical rainforests at Central Station, learn how to throw a Boomerang and play a Didgeridoo, and most importantly, get off-road and drive a 4WD around the island's less-travelled tracks. You'll drive through towering rainforests, endless golden beaches and Aussie bush.

On this trip you'll camp under the stars, so you can see the island’s magic up close. But this isn't any regular camping! You'll have quality camping gear, great tents, super fresh yummy food and camps equipped with showers, fresh water and big cooler boxes to keep your beers. You'll learn about the local Aboriginal people, hear their stories and discover why this place is so special to them.

Let Mumma and Poppa Bear look after you - book you Fraser Island 3 Day Adventure today!

        Amazing experience on Fraser Island

The Dropbear 3 days tour is the perfect way to really experience the island instead of just visiting. From driving a 4x4 on the beach, to playing the djidjeridoo or learning to throw a boomerang, spotting wildlife or watching the stars or the moon rise... Even though I really didn't enjoy the big spiders we found in the camp, i would recommend the camping trip, as you feel closer to the island itself. Our guide Troy was full of interesting information on wildlife qnd culture, and storytime with Troy was a definite highlight of the trip!

        3 day adventure Fraser Island

Best trip we have done on the east coast! Jaden was a great guide and his passion for the environment shone through. It was amazing to hear the Dreamtime stories and visit those places! The Island is magic! I now get up to watch the sunrise!

        Wonderful tour

Went on the 3 day tour together with my daughter. We both thought it was one of the best things we have ever done. Luke was our guide and he kept everything going at a good pace - always lots to do and time to enjoy it - he also timed it so we were usually ahead of the crowd wherever we went on Fraser Island. It is worth paying the extra for the flight that takes off from the beach to get another perspective and just for fun! Camp and food were good even down to being able to take a warm shower.

Amazing! Best tour we've ever been on!

We went on the 3day tour and it was sooo good! We saw all the best parts of the island. Our guide Troy was super enthusiastic and clearly has a lot of knowlegde about the island and the local flora and fauna. We had perfect weather and saw so many animals that I lost count. The team (shoutout to Luke, Sjoerd, and Jen!) is very passionate and dedicated to making our experience amazing. The upgrade tents were totally worth it, super comfy beds :) and the food was great and plenty! My sister has quite some allergies and they really worked around this to ensure she could safely eat good meals. And I had really good vegetarian options for every meal. 10/10 would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore the beauty of K'gari. I really appreciate that this is the only tour company on the island that actually cares about being eco-friendly by using eco products, recycling all their waste, using solar power, and many other eco solutions! And they clearly respect and acknowledge the local Butchulla culture and people, which is really interesting to learn about.

What an amazing experience, did the 3 day 2 nights trip and I couldn't recommend it enough. Dropbear are doing good work with the eco camp but it was our guide Jaden that really made this trip special. His knowledge and understanding of the land was second to none. Thank you to all the guys at Dropbear and especially Jayden for making this a trip of a life time
