Take part in a group learn to surf lesson at one of the Gold Coast's best beaches!
Perfect for beginners, learn to surf at one of three locations on the Gold Coast: Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Kirra.
Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach are among the most popular holiday destinations in Australia. At these locations, the city and beach lifestyles combine beautifully, with spectacular skylines and brilliant stretches of coastline. Kirra is at the southern end of the Gold Coast, just around the point from Coolangatta. It is away from the busy areas and is probably one of the safest beaches on the whole Gold Coast because it is a sheltered beach.
There is only one way to get started to learn to surf and that’s to get in the water! However, with a few helpful tips, the right equipment and heaps of encouragement from your highly qualified and experienced instructors from Go Ride A Wave, you will be standing up on your surfboard in no time. Almost all surf lessons take place in waist-deep water, to keep the sessions safe and provide the ideal conditions to learn to surf.
