DAY 1 - Kangaroo Island
Your adventure starts with an early pick up from a range of central Adelaide locations. From the main bus station, you'll catch a coach that takes you straight to Cape Jervis, where you'll transfer to the ferry. Once on Kangaroo Island, you'll be met by your driver-guide and board your small group tour. First stop is a visit to Rob's Shearing and Sheep Dogs, where you can watch a sheep-shearing show. Then it is on to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery for a delicious lunch.
Afterwards, you'll visit Seal Bay Conservation Park, and go on a guided beach walk to see some of the members of the third largest Australian sea lion colony in Australia. Continuing on your way, visit the Little Sahara sand dunes and try your hand at some sandboarding. Hang on tight! Late in the afternoon, you'll arrive at Vivonne Bay Lodge where you will stay overnight. If there's time, go for a kayak, swim or bike ride before a home-cooked dinner. Enjoy a drink and chat with your fellow travellers before tucking in for the night.
DAY 2 - Kangaroo Island
Wake up and smell the fresh air, munch on some breakfast then it is time to take off for the day. First stop is the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary where you can go koala spotting. How many can you spot?! Afterwards, continue on to Flinders Chase National Park where you can see the famous Remarkable Rocks, and most importantly, get there before the crowds. While on this side of the island, you'll also get to visit Admirals Arch and see the island's other colony of seals.
After a delicious BBQ lunch at Flinders Chase Visitors Centre, the group will journey on to the beautiful, secluded beach of Stokes Bay. This place is stunning, and not many visitors to Kangaroo Island make it this far, so enjoy your time here! On the way back to Penneshaw and the ferry you may make some additional stops (time permitting). Say goodbye to your tour guide and board the ferry back to the mainland, and remember, you can always come back!
