DAY 1: Perth to the Pinnacles
Your Perth to Broome tour starts with a trip to the local shops to stock up on food for your delicious meals. You'll then head north and enjoy impressive views of the Indian Ocean drive before arriving at the Pinnacles Dessert.
Wandering around the Pinnacles, you'll feel like you're exploring another world, with thousands of limestone spires that have been formed over millions of years dotting the landscape. Afterwards, it is just a short drive the picturesque beachside campsite where the group will kick back for the night. Watch the sunset with your new mates and enjoy a beer!
DAY 2: Pinnacles, Geraldton, Pink Lake & Lucky Bay
Sleep off your hangover or have an early morning swim then hit the road around 9:30 am. Before lunch, you'll check out the Geraldton foreshore and museums then head to the spectacular Pink Lake for some rad photo ops!
The campsite tonight is at the scenic Lucky Bay. Walk the sand dunes or swim as the sun goes down. There is plenty of space at the campsite so time to turn the music up and let your hair down for the night.
DAY 3: Kalbarri National Park
Hit the road and see the scenic Kalbarri Cliffs before a quick swim and cold shower at the river mouth. Then explore the amazing Kalbarri National Park with a few hours of hiking to Nature’s Window and the Z Bend. In the late afternoon, it is time to hit the road to our overnight stop by the river.
DAY 4: Shark Bay and Monkey Mia
This morning you'll get to visit the World Heritage-listed site of Shark Bay. Check out Shell Beach and relax and swim in the crystal clear water. After lunch, you'll visit the town of Denham followed by a stop at the Lagoon for a game of ultimate frisbee or cricket (group dependant).
It’s now time for a bit of luxury as we set up camp at the Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort. After dinner and an amazing sunset, you can head down to the jetty and spot wildlife with your torch or kick back on the grass around the campsite.
DAY 5: Monkey Mia to Carnarvon
Wake up and walk 50 metres down to the water’s edge. It’s time to meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins! If you are lucky you will get to feed Flipper his scaly breakfast!
You'll have a few hours to explore, swim or rent a kayak. We hit the road around lunchtime and travel to Carnarvon to resupply. The campsite is a short drive north of here where we will settle in for the night.
DAY 6: Coral Bay
We roll into Coral Bay mid-morning and set up camp. There are now essentially two free days to explore, snorkel the amazing reef or just sit with your new friends on the beach and enjoy this special place. There are also optional fishing charter tours, diving tours, manta ray tours and whale shark tours that you can sign-up at the time.
Usually, things will kick off pretty early and by late afternoon everyone is ready to blow off some steam and have some drinks. Some drinking games may be played as well. The campsite is a 5-minute walk from the beach and everything else in town. You will fall in love with this place the moment you arrive!
DAY 7: Coral Bay
Another day in beautiful Coral Bay! Today you can really see the reef at its finest, only meters from the beach are huge coral formations and large fish.If you are lucky you might swim alongside a turtle or friendly reef shark! There are also optional fishing charter tours, diving tours, manta ray tours and whale shark tours that you can sign-up at the time.
DAY 8: Exmouth
Today you'll head north to Exmouth. With the right weather conditions, we can hit the Exmouth town beach and enjoy some water sports. Take a jetski out and see dolphins and whales (in season), go tubing behind the jetskis for a wild adrenaline rush or just relax on the beach.
In the afternoon we have the option to rent a surfboard or do a lesson. Your campsite tonight will vary depending on what the group feels like - it might be in town or it could be by the beach.
DAY 9: Cape Range National Park, Whale Sharks & Ningaloo Reef
Today you'll travel to the Cape Range National Park and hike Mandu Mandu Gorge.
In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to snorkel at the beautiful (and appropriately named) Turquoise Bay. This spot is known as one of Western Australia's best beaches. In the evening you can watch the sunset at the historic Vlaming Lighthouse. There is also the option to do a whale shark tour here (in season).
DAY 10: Exmouth to Tom Price
Today the group will travel inland to the red-earthed heart of the Pilbara. Keep an eye out the window for wildlife and maybe even a cheeky dingo. This evening you'll check into Karijini Eco Retreat and stay in Glamping Tents with Bunks.
DAY 11: Karijini National Park
Today you'll explore Knox Gorge, Hancock Gorge and hike down into Kermits Pool for a refreshing swim. Later you'll walk the Weano Gorge and visit Handrail Pool. The group may also check out Oxers, Junction Pool and Jofre Lookouts. So much to see today!
DAY 12: Karijini National Park
Wake up and start your day by heading to Dales Gorge. Here you'll be able to swim at the picturesque Fern Pool. Then the group will check out Fortesque Falls.
Afterwards, it is time for another short hike (1.5 km) through Dales Gorge to Circular Pool for a swim. This afternoon you'll be dropped off to take the Integrity Coach bus to Port Headland. You'll have to wait for a few hours for the next bus, but don't worry - there's always other guests who are doing exactly the same! At 1:30 am the Integrity Coach will roll into town and you will travel overnight to Broome.
DAY 13: Broome
Catch up on some sleep on the coach and arrive in the beautiful Broome by 8:15 am. Make sure you've booked your accommodation for Broome! (message us for recommendations).
